MAPLD 2000 Block Schedule

Talks are identified by the Session and paper number.  For example, talk C3 is the third talk in the Session C, Radiation.  The "0" talk for each session is the invited talk for that session.  For example, talk A0 is the invited talk for Session A, Applications.  Talk A0 is the Conference Keynote Address.

Invited talks are generally 40 minutes long with 5 minutes for questions and answers.  B0 will be 50 minutes with 10 minutes for Q&A and C0 will be 45 minutes long.  The schedule has flexibility built in and each Session Chair has the authority to lengthen [or cut-off] Q&A as appropriate.  Healthy discussions are encouraged.  Each regular paper will have a 20 minute presentation period, strictly enforced, with a nominal 5 minutes allotted for Q&A.  Floor mikes will be provided for Q&A and all questions should be preceded with the name and affiliation of the individual asking the question.  It's a large room, so please use the floor mikes for all questions.
