Introduction

            The importance of prototyping/verification 

Hardware

• RTAX4000S device compared to the prototyping vehicle

•  The prototyping vehicle uses the same die as the RTAX4000S

•  The prototyping vehicle will be in the same package as the RTAX4000S, but instead of hermetically sealed package, it will be plastic sealed

• The prototyping vehicle will not have any radiation testing data

•  The prototyping vehicle will not have 883B testing

• It is fully tested for functionality

Software

• Design using RTAX4000S die (selection in Designer)

• Create programming file

• Program prototyping vehicle

• Once testing is completed, program flight units with same programming file

Conclusion

• Easy to use prototyping flow

• Does not require interposer

• Does not require change of die during prototyping

• Same timing

• Same package

• Same programming file
