rk Goes to JPL - He's Back!!!!

 

Yes, I'm again in a tie but this time without jacket (yeah, you guessed it, left it on the plane, not used to traveling with clothes like that!).  Of course, my good friend Barry was on hand to capture this moment with a digital camera.  The date is August 25, 1999 - the last time I wore a tie at JPL was on Tuesday March 13, 1984.   This picture is taken in Von Karman [spell?] auditorium for the SMEX/WIRE presentation.  You can see the images put on the Voyager spacecraft in the background.
